Such is the case with Joseph Chris Partners and its dynamic young CEO, Veronica Ramirez. Veronica grew up in the business and learned her craft from her father, Joe, the company’s founder. JCP is an industry-leading executive search firm, which drives business connection; serving the commercial and residential development and construction, finance, investment, restoration, transit/transportation, and civil infrastructure industries. With Veronica at the helm, the company’s value as a strategic partner transcends the traditional boundaries of business-to-business relationships, positioning her and the entire JCP team as the “go to” firm in the fast-moving world of talent procurement, joint ventures, raising capital and mergers and acquisitions.

Veronica joined Joseph Chris Partners in 1998 as an Executive Recruiter and quickly established herself as a leading consultant. Her exemplary record of providing clients with a consistent flow of quality candidates and business partnerships coupled with a willingness to serve her clients through personalized care, integrity and unmatched professionalism. The combination of “head and heart” is among Veronica’s greatest assets. Her ability to establish relationship and connect people is powerful.

Throughout her career, Veronica has remained instrumental in completing national searches for C-level positions; Presidents and executive level positions in Finance, Sales and Marketing, Operations and Land. She is able to establish multi-divisional relationships with both public and privately held companies, even when they may operate within one local market. Her unique ability to understand the needs of her clients and evaluate candidates based upon that understanding is critical to her success. Veronica’s knowledge of the industry is extensive, allowing her to work quickly and effectively to provide the support necessary for success in today’s competitive environment. Veronica has relationships and support business interactions from suppliers to general contractors assisting with preferred/improved buying power. She connects General Contractors with Developers and Developers to Owners of projects and land. She is able to assist in raising capital for owners of land wanting to build and support owners of projects wanting investors or to sell. She is also able to assist in companies looking to sell or buy.

Leaders turn challenges into success and success opens the door to opportunity; a little history in Veronica’s development. In 2002, Veronica was promoted to the position of Division Manager and was charged with the daunting task of growing the company’s most important profit center. Veronica’s vision, leadership skills and mentoring capabilities complemented her recruiting prowess and brought a great deal of success to the division and JCP. Her team increased their production by 35% each year from 2002-2005. In addition to her responsibilities of planning and managing the activities of JCP’s most active division, Veronica maintained her status as the company’s leading producer. As a result, in the spring of 2005, Veronica was named to the position of Executive Vice-President for JCP, a role created specifically for her to provide a fine tuning of her leadership and management skills in preparation for her current role.

In October of 2005, Veronica was named President of the company and three years later assumed the role of CEO, filling her father’s shoes as he moved into retirement. In December of 2009, the transition in leadership from father to daughter was completed when Veronica purchased the company at company value.

Veronica has been instrumental in the growth of JOSEPH CHRIS PARTNERS over the past 15 years having served the firm in critical operational, management and executive roles. Her expertise in the industry has established her as one of the most sought after liaisons for building long-term alliances in the consulting field, and her leadership of the company during the market challenges of the past several years has positioned JCP very well for the pending economic recovery.

Veronica remains focused on the needs of her company’s clients as she leads her team of seasoned, dedicated professionals forward through the market recovery. The past is prologue to the future, and with Veronica at the helm, the Joseph Chris team continues to provide the industry with an unparalleled level of service and superior results.

Outside of work, Veronica’s adventurous spirit is applied to riding her motorcycles, cycling, archery, sporting clays and competing in triathlons. She also is on the board and active member of HESI which is a Hispanic outreach focused on children for mentorship and guidance.
